Symptoms

For most women, life’s journey involves the joys and challenges associated with reproduction — menstruation, intercourse, pregnancy, childbirth and then, finally, menopause.  Our mothers and grandmothers often called it “The Change” because menopause causes a range of physical and emotional changes — some welcome, others not so welcome.

Commons symptoms of menopause include hot flashes, mood and memory changes, changes to skin texture and appearance, night sweats and difficulty sleeping, loss of vaginal lubrication, and bladder control difficulties.  The good news is that these symptoms can be barely noticeable to some women; but to others, they may be greatly affected and have a hard time coping.  Fortunately, women today have options; you don’t have to suffer in silence.  There are ways to manage menopause symptoms so they don’t get in the way of your busy, active life.
